We are a community led nonprofit organization based in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Merseyside, England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
We aim to help and support the most marginalized and vulnerable individuals, families and communities in need. Which includes those suffering in poverty, homelessness, addiction, domestic violence or those at risk of harm, mental health illness and disabilities, trauma survivors, people facing persecution or injustice, the most at risk of social isolation and loneliness, our elderly, refugees, LGBTQ+, and ethnic minorities.
We aspire to bring together all our communities and individuals, to have a united and strong community that celebrates diversity and individuality, as well as similarities and shared goals.
We believe diversity breeds expansion and every individual needs a place they can grow and be accepted in our world. We are focused on making sure that those in need have easy access to help and support that they deserve and are treated with dignity, equality and fairness.
We aim to create dynamic change for the wellbeing, self-esteem, education and confidence in our community members and put in place empowered peer support, independent group networks, training, wellbeing therapy, trauma-informed focused classes, different coaching and holistic healing and proud community connection.
We are focused on creating a community where fairness, trust, dignity and equitable treatment are hallmarks of how we interact with one another. We don't believe in treating people like statistics or speaking on behalf of anyone's story, but instead passing on the mic and empowering other voices to be heard and acknowledged.
We encourage all the individuals and groups of people in our diverse communities to come together and create positive change and innovative solutions to tackle any challenges we may face. We aim to educate our community members to learn how to lean into their resilience and unique strengths and develop and grow into healthier happier people.
CONNECTION HEALS AND MAKES US STRONGER
By gathering with others to share our stories, we learn together how to interact with other struggling individuals and we soon begin to realize that we are not alone. Together we are more open to sharing our experiences and feelings, which in turn helps boost our confidence and self-esteem; reducing stress and feelings of guilt and shame that often accompany addiction and recovery.
Using different forms of coaching, trauma-informed education, creative arts therapy, counselling and peer-led support groups as a powerful tool to enable our community members to realise their gifts, potential, strengths, talents and abilities. We empower the people we work with by teaching new skills, learning from one another and lifting each other up.
DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS
We believe that access to healing and therapeutic help should be affordable to all members of society. We do not take the one shoe fits all approach to healing, but appreciate the complexities and uniqueness of every individual, with their own individual needs and differences. Thereby, we offer a range of different integrative healing modalities and therapies, as well as different types of coaching, support groups and workshops.

We do not take the one shoe fits all approach to healing, but appreciate the complexities and uniqueness of every individual, with their own individual needs and differences. Our services aim to be community and family inclusive, culturally competent and collaborative centring on the individual; respectful of their own choices, differences and autonomy.
If we are unable to offer the appropriate service we aim to help direct our community members to external services and resources.
We believe in the potential and creativity of all our community members, regardless of age, background, disabilities, adversities or obstacles they are struggling to overcome - we believe in the power of encouragement, peer support and in community spirit.
CREATING POSITIVE IMPACT FOR GENERATIONS TO COME
Disadvantaged communities that lack resources and opportunities can result in worse child development outcomes that can persist from one generation to the next (Gupta, 2007). However, research points towards factors that promote positive child development, such as involved parents and families, active community organisations and activities, local neighbourhoods that are safe to walk in with good places to play and participate in activities and interests in local community. (Zubrick, 2005; Engle, 2011)
Children who feel they have a community they belong to in the world have a stronger sense of identity, pride in themselves and healthier self-esteems. If we build a healthy community now that's nourishing the children of tomorrow and also fostering respect, value and care to our elderly community members who often get neglected in today's society. We have a duty of care to our elderly and more vulnerable members who deserve our support and respect.
We perform our duties with the utmost regard to the appropriate safe guarding procedures to make sure that all vulnerable people and groups have a safe space and peace of mind.
